Construction to Begin on McKean County Bridge Project

The Rapid Bridge Replacement Project continues in McKean County in August with the reconstruction of a bridge in Bradford Township. Replacement of this bridge will allow PennDOT to remove it from McKean County’s list of structurally deficient bridges.

The bridge (JV-73) spans Bennett Brook on Route 4011 (Sullivan Road). Construction is expected to start during the week of August 22 and be complete in November. During this time, drivers will be directed to follow a detour along Route 4009 (Interstate Parkway).

In the event of unfavorable weather or unforeseen activities, this schedule may change.
