The Rapid Bridge Replacement Project will begin in Lawrence County with the start of construction on a bridge beginning in late August. The Neshannock Fall Road (SR 956) bridge over the Branch of Neshannock Creek in Wilmington Township (JV-471) is scheduled to close August 22, 2016. Traffic will be detoured using SR 0168 (Eastbrook Volant Road) to SR 208.
Construction of the bridge will take approximately ten weeks to complete. The bridge was built in 1952 and averages 1,226 vehicles a day.
