Construction for the Glass Run Road (SR 3098) bridge, spanning Glass Run Creek in the city of Pittsburgh, has been postponed to 2017. It was previously scheduled to begin this fall as part of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT) Rapid Bridge Replacement Project.
A release with full details on the new construction timeline will be distributed prior to the start of construction in 2017.
This bridge is referred to as JV-443 out of the 558 bridges being replaced under the Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. JV references the joint-venture partnership between Walsh/Granite, which is leading construction for the entire project.
