Construction for the Clarksburg Road (SR 3007) bridge, which spans Marshall Run in Conemaugh Township, Indiana County has been postponed. It was originally scheduled for May 8 and is now expected to begin the week of May 22.
Construction is now expected to begin during the week of May 22 and be complete in late June. During this time, drivers will be directed to follow a detour along Tunnelton Road (SR 3003) and Saltsburg Road (SR 3002).
In the event of unfavorable weather or unforeseen activities, this schedule may change.
This bridge is referred to as JV-389 and is one out of the 558 bridges being replaced under the Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. JV references the joint-venture partnership between Walsh/Granite, which is leading construction for the entire project.
