The Rimrock Drive crossing over Pocono Creek has finally reopened to traffic

After numerous delays caused by large boulders and the remains of the old bridge that got in the way of pile driving, cold weather, and substantial redesign, the Rimrock Drive bridge (JV-194) over Pocono Creek reopened to traffic today in Hamilton Township.

The bridge closed in late July and was originally scheduled to reopen to traffic in November. However, crews encountered a number of unforeseen problems that delayed the bridge’s reopening until today.
