June 27, 2016

The Public-Private Partnership (P3) project that's rebuilding 558 bridges across Pennsylvania completed another bridge in Monroe County today, as the Sugar Hollow Road crossing over Sugar Hollow Creek reopened.

The bridge was closed for reconstruction in mid-April and reopened to traffic the afternoon of Friday, June 24. The work was performed by Clearwater Construction. The new crossing is longer and wider than the one it replaced and is designed to last as long as 100 years.
