Harrisburg, PA – The bridge carrying Pumping Station Road (State Route 2015) over the West Branch of Octoraro Creek in Colerain Township, Lancaster County, which closed on Monday, October 1, for restoration and paving work, is now open to traffic.
This bridge was fully replaced in December 2017 as part of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT’s) Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. The bridge is referred to as JV-277 and is one out of the 558 bridges being replaced under the Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. JV references the joint-venture partnership between Walsh/Granite, which is leading construction for the entire project.
