The North Mill Road (Route 1027) bridge, which spans an unnamed tributary to Chillisquaque Creek in East Chillisquaque Township, Northumberland County, that’s been under construction as part of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation's (PennDOT) Rapid Bridge Replacement Project, is completed and open to traffic. Replacement of this bridge allows PennDOT to remove it from the state's structurally deficient bridge list.

The bridge reopened to traffic on Wednesday, July 26. Replacement work was performed by Robert C. Young, Inc. of Mifflinville, PA.

This bridge is referred to as JV-119 and is one out of the 558 bridges being replaced under the Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. JV references the joint-venture partnership between Walsh/Granite, which is leading construction for the entire project.
