Nighttime Closure on Southbound Ramp F (Route 8005) Bridge in Jackson Township

The southbound Ramp F (Route 8005) bridge, spanning Route 19 northbound in Jackson Township, Butler County, will be closed in both directions for nighttime work on Thursday, March 30, as work continues for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT) Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. 

A full closure of the bridge will be implemented from 10 p.m. – 5 a.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2017. During this time, drivers will be directed to follow a detour along Route 68 (East Grandview Avenue) and I-79. 

In the event of unfavorable weather or unforeseen activities, this schedule may change. 

This bridge is referred to as JV-379 and is one of 558 bridges being replaced under the Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. JV references the joint-venture partnership between Walsh/Granite, which is leading construction for the entire project.
