Nighttime Closure - Luzerne County Bridge Project

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT) Rapid Bridge Replacement Project currently underway on SR 8005 E Ramp over I-80 WB in Butler Township will close for nighttime demolition work.

The bridge will be closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Wednesday, August 10. Drivers will be detoured to I-81 NB, SR 3007 and SB I-81. Crews will continue demolition work on abutment two during the nighttime work.

In the event of unforeseen construction activities or unfavorable weather this schedule may change.
