Lane Closures Planned on PA 33 North, US 22 East in Bethlehem Township

Motorists should expect single lane closures on PA 33 north and US 22 east next week as construction continues to replace the bridge carrying PA 33 north over US 22 in Bethlehem Township, Northampton County.  

Drivers should anticipate a northbound lane closure on PA 33, between William Penn Highway and Hecktown Road, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM on Wednesday, September 5, and Thursday, September 6. Motorists should anticipate a US 22 eastbound lane closure from 8:30 to 5:30 PM on Thursday, September 6. Full replacement of the bridge is part of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT) Rapid Bridge Replacement Project.
