The Rapid Bridge Replacement Project continues in Montour County in August with the reconstruction of a bridge in Limestone Township. Replacing the bridge will allow PennDOT to remove it from Montour County’s structurally deficient list.
The state-owned bridge (JV116) is located on Route 254 (Broadway Road), spanning Limestone Run. Construction is expected to start during the week of August 1 and be complete in early November. During this time, drivers will encounter a temporary roadway while the new bridge is replaced.
In the event of unfavorable weather or unforeseen activities, this schedule may change.
