The Rapid Bridge Replacement Project continues in Bradford County in August with the reconstruction of a bridge in Warren Township. Replacing the bridge will allow PennDOT to remove it from Bradford County’s structurally deficient list.
The state-owned bridge (JV099) is located on Route 1059 (Irish Hill Road), spanning Wappasening Creek. Construction is expected to start in August and be complete in November. During this time, drivers will be detoured using State Route 1038 (Warren Center Road), State Route 1079 (Coburn Hill Road), Township Road 889 (Reagan Hill Road) and Township Road 801 (Irish Hill Road) while the new bridge is replaced.
In the event of unfavorable weather or unforeseen activities, this schedule may change.
