The Route 467 Bridge, spanning Rockwell Creek in Pike Township is scheduled to be replaced as part of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT) Rapid Bridge Replacement Project.
Construction is expected to begin during the week of October 3, with the closure of the bridge. During construction, drivers will be directed to follow a detour along Route 467 and Route 1010 (CC Allis Road). Work is expected to be complete by November.
The Route 467 bridge was replaced last year, but was installed at a height that did not meet environmental regulations. We apologize for the added inconvenience with construction and the associated detour.
This bridge is referred to as JV-95 and is one of the 558 bridges being replaced under the Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. JV references the joint-venture partnership between Walsh/Granite, which is leading construction for the entire project.
