Construction To Begin on Lawrence County Bridge Project

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT) Rapid Bridge Replacement Project will continue in Lawrence County with the start of construction on a bridge in early July.

The SR 208 (Pulaski Road) bridge over a Branch of Deer Creek in Pulaski Township (JV466) is scheduled to close July 9. Traffic will be detoured using SR 208 to SR 422 to SR 551.

Construction of the bridge is expected to be completed by mid-August. The bridge was built in 1930 and averages 1,756 vehicles a day.
