The Rapid Bridge Replacement Project continues in Crawford County with the start of construction of a bridge beginning in July.
The SR 6 (Grand Army Highway) bridge over a Tributary of Conneaut Lake Outlet in Vernon Township (JV-001) is scheduled to start July 21. The bridge will be built one-half at a time allowing one lane of alternating traffic controlled by a traffic signal to remain open throughout the project. Construction of the bridge is expected to be completed in late October. The bridge was built in 1939 and averages 7,233 vehicles a day.
