The Rapid Bridge Replacement Project continues in Allegheny County with the construction of a bridge beginning in August.

The Guys Run Road bridge over Guys Run (JV412) in Harmar Township is scheduled to close on August 22, 2016. This closure was originally scheduled for June 2016. Traffic (car detour) will be detoured using Guys Run Road to Freeport Road to SR 910 to Locust Hill Road. Traffic (truck detour) will be detoured using Guys Run Road to Freeport Road to SR 910 to SR 1013 to SR 1006. Construction will take approximately five weeks to complete. The bridge was built in 1936 and averages 4,276 vehicles a day.
