Construction for the Dark Hollow Road (Route 2015) bridge, spanning Big Run in Franklin Township, Lycoming County, has been rescheduled.
Work previously was set to begin during the week of March 27. Construction is now expected to begin during the week of April 17 and be complete in late July.
During this time, drivers will be directed to follow a detour along Route 692 (Dugan Hill Road and Loop Hill Road), Route 694 (Crawley Hill Road) and Route 695 (Crawley Hill Road Extension).
In the event of unfavorable weather or unforeseen activities, this schedule may change.
This bridge is referred to as JV-113 and is one out of the 558 bridges being replaced under the Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. JV references the joint-venture partnership between Walsh/Granite, which is leading construction for the entire project.
