The Route 120 (Brusselles Street) bridge in Elk County scheduled for replacement this summer as part of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT) Rapid Bridge Replacement Project, has been postponed. A release with full details on the new construction timeline will be distributed prior to the start of construction in 2017.
The bridge spans a branch of Elk Creek on Route 120 in the City of St. Marys. It is one of three bridges in Elk County planned to be replaced under the project.
This bridge is referred to as JV-48 out of the 558 bridges being replaced under the Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. JV references the joint-venture partnership between Walsh/Granite, which is leading construction for the entire project.
