Construction for the Route 549 bridge, spanning Seely Creek in Jackson Township, has been delayed to start until 2017. The bridge was previously scheduled to be replaced this fall as part of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT) Rapid Bridge Replacement Project.
A release with full details on the new construction timeline will be distributed prior to the start of construction in 2017.
This bridge is referred to as JV-130 and is one of 558 bridges being replaced under the Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. JV references the joint-venture partnership between Walsh/Granite, which is leading construction for the entire project.
