Construction for the Melcroft Road (Route 1007) bridge, which spans Champion Creek in Saltlick Township, Fayette County has been postponed. It was previously scheduled to begin during the week of September 11.

Construction is now expected to begin during the week of September 18 and be complete in mid-November. During this time, drivers will be directed to follow a detour along Route 1050, County Line Road (Route 1058) and Route 711 & Route 381 (Indian Creek Valley Road).

In the event of unfavorable weather or unforeseen activities, this schedule may change.
