Due to unfavorable weather conditions, construction for the Irish Hill Road (SR 1059) bridge, spanning Wappasening Creek in Warren Township, Bradford County, has been postponed. It was previously scheduled to begin during the week of March 13.
Construction is now expected to begin during the week of March 20 and be completed in early June. During this time, drivers will be directed to follow a detour along Irish Hill Road (SR 1059), T-889 (Reagan Hill Road), Coburn Hill Road (SR 1079) and Warren Center Road (SR 1038).
In the event of unfavorable weather or unforeseen activities, this schedule may change.
This bridge is referred to as JV-99 and is one out of 559 bridges being replaced under the Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. JV references the joint-venture partnership between Walsh/Granite, which is leading construction for the entire project.
