The Route 44 Bridge in Potter County scheduled for replacement this summer as part of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT) Rapid Bridge Replacement Project, has been postponed. A release with full details on the new construction timeline will be distributed prior to the start of construction in 2017.

The bridge spans the South Branch of Oswayo Creek on Route 44 about a mile southeast of the village of Hebron Center. It is one of ten bridges in Potter County planned to be replaced under the project.

This bridge is referred to as JV-81 out of the 558 bridges being replaced under the Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. JV references the joint-venture partnership between Walsh/Granite, which is leading construction for the entire project.
