September 06, 2018

With completion anticipated by late September, construction is continuing on a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Rapid Bridge Replacement Project on Route 44 (Pine Hill Road) in Abbott Township, Potter County.

Work on the Route 44 bridge has been delayed due to exceptionally wet weather and flooding. Through completion, an alternating, single-lane traffic pattern controlled by temporary traffic signals remains in place.

In the event of unfavorable weather or unforeseen activities, this schedule may change.

This bridge is referred to as JV-80 and is one of 558 bridges being replaced under the Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. JV references the joint-venture partnership between Walsh/Granite, which is leading construction for the entire project.
