The Rapid Bridge Replacement Project will begin soon in Franklin County, with the reconstruction of the Fort McCord Road (SR 4008) bridge over Rocky Spring Creek in Hamilton Township.

Construction is scheduled to start on Monday, July 25. During construction, drivers will be directed to use a detour route along Edenville-Cheesetown Road (SR 4010). The work is expected to be complete by October, and will be performed by Clearwater Construction. The crossing was built in 1953 and averages 700 vehicles a day.
